Hyperliquid’s native token HYPE jumped 13% to $39.9 on May 26 as bullish momentum accelerated. The rally followed a whale’s decision to close $1 billion in Leveraged Bitcoin short positions after sustaining $15.87 million in losses within 15 hours.
At press time, HYPE trades at $38.59, maintaining an 11% 24-hour gain. Market attention intensified as prominent trader James Wynn executed a $1.25 billion notional position flip on Hyperliquid, switching from leveraged Bitcoin longs to shorts.
